Yes. Unlimited documents, no account, no trial timer and no watermark on the PDF. We make money from the optional Pro plan and from the services people ask us to take off their hands.
In your own browser's local storage. Your company profile, logo, saved services and numbering never reach a server. The trade-off: clearing your browser data clears those settings, and they don't follow you to another device — that's what the Pro plan is for.
Yes, on the free plan. Upload any PNG or JPG under 1.5 MB and it appears on screen and in the PDF.
Tax can be a percentage or a flat amount and you can rename it (VAT, GST, whatever applies). Discounts work the same way, and shipping can be added as a flat line.
Not from the free PDF — add your payment instructions in the Terms box for now. Card and bank payment links are on the roadmap for the Pro plan.
An invoice is valid based on what's on it, not what made it: your details, the client's details, a unique number, the date, a clear description of what's being charged and the tax treatment. All of that is on these documents. Requirements vary by country and by tax registration, so check your local rules — and if you're VAT/GST registered, confirm the wording your tax authority expects.
